The Empik Bestseller Gala 2024 brought plenty of emotion and artistic sensations. Damiano David, the singer who gained worldwide fame as the frontman of the band Måneskin, performed on stage. This time he presented his solo repertoire. The audience was enchanted!

A musical feast full of stars

This year’s Empik Bestsellers gala took place on 18 February and, as always, honoured artists whose works have won the hearts of Poles. The nominees and winners included representatives of literature, film and music, and the event was honoured with performances by leading artists. Roxie, Margaret, Zalewski, Wiktor Dyduła, Małgorzata Ostrowska, Maria Peszek, Sanah, Kaśka Sochacka and Kasia Sienkiewicz, among others, appeared on stage. However, it was Damiano David’s performance that caused the most excitement.

The charismatic artist rose to international fame in 2021, when Måneskin triumphed at Eurovision with the song ‘Zitti e Buoni’. The band quickly conquered world stages and Polish audiences loved them with reciprocity. Currently, Damiano David is focusing on his solo career. His first album is about to be released, and Polish fans had the opportunity to be the first to hear his new material live. The singer started his performance with the song ‘Born With a Broken Heart’ and then presented an excerpt from his latest single ‘Next Summer’. His unique stage expression and amazing vocals left the audience enthralled.
