Since moving to the United States, Agatha and Peter Rubik's life has been generating a lot of interest among their fans. Recently, the media has been increasingly vocal about the mass deportations of immigrants following Donald Trump's return to power. Consequently, the topic came up in a Q&A session on Agatha Rubik's Instagram. How did she respond to the question about possible deportation from the country?

In the summer of 2023, the renowned composer and his wife decided to make a big life change by moving to Miami. From the very first months, they praised their new reality, emphasising that it was the right decision. Piotr Rubik repeatedly mentioned the many advantages of living in the United States – cheaper fuel, lower car costs and a greater sense of security. For their daughters, it was also supposed to be a chance to better develop in a more open environment.

Agata Rubik asked about deportations. Does she have anything to fear?

During one of her recent Q&A sessions on Instagram, an internet user asked Agata Rubik if her family was facing deportation. This topic has become very hot in recent weeks, as the US authorities have started the process of deporting illegal immigrants from the country after Donald Trump returned to the White House. In response, Agatha Rubik reassured fans and dispelled any doubts:

No, we are here legally. We have green cards, and in 3.5 years we will be applying for citizenship – she explained, attaching a family selfie to her reply.

The Rubiks’ plans for the future

As you can see, the Rubiks have no intention of returning to Poland and are consistently planning for a future in the US. Having green cards entitles them to permanent residency, and they plan to apply for US citizenship in the coming years. It looks like their `American dream’ is in full swing and there is no sign of them stopping it.
