After almost a decade of waiting, the heroine who won the hearts of millions returns. The film `Bridget Jones. Crazy for a Guy' opens in cinemas today, with Renée Zellweger reprising her role as the irreplaceable Bridget. In this instalment, we're in for more than just laughs and shrugs, but also the return of the character played by Hugh Grant and surprising new plots.

A new chapter in the life of Bridget Jones

The latest instalment in the series is based on Helen Fielding’s book `Bridget Jones. Crazy for a Guy’. This time the main character is a 50-year-old independent woman who is raising two children on her own. In the film, we learn that her beloved Marc Darcy, previously played by Colin Firth, has died in tragic circumstances during a humanitarian mission in Sudan.
