Sandra Kubicka, a well-known model and influencer, decided to recharge her batteries in sunny Spain. Although the trip was meant to be a form of therapy and relaxation for her, there was no shortage of surprises - from unusual club opening hours to dangerous situations involving theft.

Barcelona: holiday mood-boosting therapy

Sandra Kubicka, who regularly shares details from her life on social media, went on a short holiday to Barcelona. By her own admission, the Spanish sunshine was meant to be an antidote to the dreary winter weather in Poland.

I was getting hit hard by the weather in Poland. I grew up in the sunshine. (…) This trip is therapy for me. I need to recharge my sunshine batteries,” she wrote on Instagram.

During her stay, the model decided to spend time with her girlfriends. Although she chose not to reveal their image, she assured that their evening out was a long-awaited moment.

Unusual rhythm of life in Barcelona

Sandra reported that the plan for the evening, which was to include dinner and a visit to a club, quickly changed. As she explained, Barcelona has a very different nightlife schedule that she and her friends were not prepared for.

Comedy! A person leaves after four years, wants to go to a club to dance, and here? You can’t! (…) The clubs open at 1 a.m. We didn’t know what to do with ourselves, so we went home like Cinderellas – at midnight,” she admitted with amusement.

For internet users planning a visit to Barcelona, Sandra had a piece of advice: make dinner reservations for a later hour, and don’t go to the clubs until after midnight. Anna Lewandowska, who has been living in Barcelona since 2022, when her husband Robert became an FC Barcelona player, certainly knows this.

A warning against theft in Barcelona

Sandra also shared a more serious observation about security in Barcelona. She admitted that the city is known for its high crime rate, especially theft. She herself almost fell victim to a thief on the very first day of her stay.

If you are going to Barcelona, leave anything near, dear and conspicuous at home. (…) Today I already had a situation where someone was following me and hanging around my purse, so I quickly turned around and got confused,” she warned.

The model stressed that it is advisable to be extra careful, not to hold your phone in your hand while walking and to avoid conspicuous accessories.
