Detention of Lexy C. – behind-the-scenes of a case that shook the internet

A few days ago, social media was abuzz with the news that the CID had detained a group of automotive influencers and journalists. They were suspected of organising illegal lotteries and issuing fake VAT invoices. Among the detainees was also Lexy C., who was the only woman in the entire group.

After a short stay in custody, Lexy C. was released on financial bail and placed under police supervision. After regaining her freedom, she approached the situation with great detachment, posting humorous comments on social media. On Wednesday, she recounted her experience on YouTube, and a day later, her close friend Fagata revealed what the backstory of that time was like from her perspective.

On Thursday, Fagata held a Q&A session on her Instagram, during which a fan asked how she reacted to the news of Lexy C’s detention. The influencer admitted that she was under immense stress and couldn’t stop frowning.

No well I was walking around panicking until they let her go. Because listen, I only hang out with four girls, obviously not counting my mum, sister etc, and they locked one of them up. I keep saying I need more girlfriends and yet they tried to take my friend away from me. Exaggeration – she confessed in a report on Instagram.

Fagata’s words make it clear how much of an experience it was for her to keep a loved one. Not only did she fear for Lexy C.’s future, but also for the loss of one of the few women in her immediate circle.

Although the situation was serious, both Lexy C. and her friends are trying to keep their distance and not panic. Lexy was already keeping her spirits up after leaving detention and returned to being active on social media. Fagata, on the other hand, although initially full of apprehension, can breathe a sigh of relief – her friend has returned to her normal life.

While the case of the influencer’s detention still raises many emotions and questions, one thing is certain – for Fagata, it was an event that took a heavy toll on her emotions. Now, however, the two can focus on continuing their online activities and, as Fagata suggests, perhaps even expand their circle of friends.
