Adamek’s brutal knockout and farewell to the ring

One of the most talked-about events of the evening was the fight of the evening between Tomasz “Góral” Adamek and Roberto Soldic. Despite his vast experience, Adamek was unable to counter the Croatian’s power style. The duel ended with a brutal TKO in the second round and the audience was stunned when Adamek announced the end of his career immediately after the fight.

This was my last time in the ring. Thank you to all the fans for all these years – he said with a shrug.

Michał Materla knocks out Załęcki in the first round

The return to the octagon was also recorded by Michał Materla, who crossed the gloves with Dawid ‘Cracy’ Załęcki. The small-glove boxing fight didn’t last long – already in the first round Materla hit cleanly, knocking out his rival. Załęcki fell to the mat without contact and the referee had no doubts. This duel showed that despite his years Materla still has his sporting ferocity and incredible accuracy.

Fame MMA 27: Faces after the fight

Although the fighters looked confident before the bouts, their faces after coming down from the octagon said quite the opposite. They were particularly hard hit:

• Dawid Załęcki, whose face was swollen and covered in bruises,

• Tomasz Adamek, with a shattered eyebrow and a thoughtful face after the loss,

• Michal Materla, despite his victory, also with visible signs of the fight,

• Alan “Alanik” Kwiecinski, whose defeat by TKO left clear marks on his face,

• and Lexy Chaplin, after a difficult fight with Sheeya, with her make-up smudged by sweat and emotion.

This ‘before and after’ juxtaposition only confirms how much sacrifice and pain is involved in participating in galas such as Fame MMA.

Lexy Chaplin loses to Sheeya, Najman submits again

In the women’s clash, Lexy Chaplin had to acknowledge the superiority of Sheeya, who dominated the K-1 formula for three rounds. The judges were in no doubt and unanimously named the winner. Chaplin, although brave, was unable to break through her rival’s combinations.

In another fight, Marcin Najman – traditionally – did not make it to the end. His rival, Tuszol, ended the duel with a choke in the second round. The audience reacted with a mixture of disappointment and laughter – Najman again did not disappoint the meme reputation.

Alan Kwiecinski knocked out, Matrix returns to the top

For many fans, the fight between Alan Kwiecinski, who faced Michal “Matrix” Królik, was also a big surprise. The clash ended already in the first round – Matrix dominated his opponent and won by TKO, which proved that his form is constantly growing and his place at the top of freak fights is no accident.
