FAME tempted by Pudzianowski

Pudzianowski’s possible transfer to the world of freak-fighting was already reported on 25 February by Artur Mazur of WP SportoweFakty. The fighter himself has repeatedly stressed in the past that he has received offers from organisations outside KSW.

Freak-fight federations come to me. They offer me much bigger money than in KSW. Yes, they offer me. There was already one former federation, another one. No, thank you. With a small spoon, I’ll get hired. With a ladle I would choke – Pudzian once said.

Nevertheless, he has recently entered talks with FAME MMA.

Confusion at the pre-gala conference

At Sunday’s pre-FAME 25 press conference, everything was about to become clear. Initially, it was assumed that Pudzianowski would take part in a one-on-two duel against Adrian Cios and Natan Marconi. In the end, however, he did not appear at the event and his place was taken by Denis Labryga, Pudzian’s sparring partner. When Labryga was called on stage, he immediately attacked Marconi. A huge brawl broke out, which got out of control. The situation escalated to the point where Labryga was treated with gas, presumably by Marconia. The organisers disrupted the conference and eventually the decision was taken to end it. The fighters are scheduled to meet again on Tuesday.

Pudzianowski remains in KSW?

All indications are that Mariusz Pudzianowski will remain in KSW. The former strongman was tried to fight Eddie Hall at the KSW 105 gala, scheduled for 26 April in Gliwice. The final decisions are expected to be made on Monday, the 10th of March.

We have agreed with Mariusz and his manager by the end of the day on Monday that we will definitely ask them for an answer – said Martin Lewandowski, KSW co-main event representative.

In his MMA career, he has 26 fights to his credit, of which he has won 17. Will we still see him in the KSW cage, or will he opt for the world of freak-fights? The final decision on this question will be made in the coming days.
