‘Taazy’ reveals behind-the-scenes of FAME’s million-dollar payout: how much is left after three months?

Kamil "Taazy" Mataczynski, a rising freak-fighting star, has conquered the fight world in record time. In August, he became a millionaire thanks to winning the FAME tournament, but in a recent stream he revealed how much of that amount remained in his account.

From debut to big win at PGE Narodowe

Kamil Mataczynski, known as ‘Taazy’, has taken the freak-fight scene by storm. His career gained momentum this summer when he made his PRIME MMA debut, defeating Robert Pasut. The breakthrough came at the historic FAME 22 gala at PGE Narodowe, where ‘Taazy’ took part in the prestigious ‘Roman cage’ tournament. By beating ‘Greg’, ‘Squirrel’ and ‘Tibori’ in one evening, he secured the main prize – one million zlotys.

One million zlotys? Only on paper

During one of the streams, ‘Taazy’ revealed how much of the promised million was actually left in his pocket.

I got a million from FAME MMA, well. But tax plus PRIME and I got 700 thousand for myself, they still owe me 50 ¢. But seven hundred I almost got. That’s the kind of money I’ve earned, which I never dreamed of in such a short time,” confessed Mataczynski.

The freak-fight star also revealed that the money he’s earned has allowed him to pursue his dreams. He is still actively taking part in more galas, which provides him with a steady flow of cash.

From courier to millionaire

Until a few months ago, ‘Taazy’ worked as a courier and tried to gain popularity through live broadcasts on the internet. Today, he is one of the busiest freak-fighters in Poland, collaborating with an organization managed by Boxdel. His fight balance since August is six wins, and on 7 December he will face Adam “AJ” Josef at the FAME 23 gala.

A future full of challenges

Although Kamil Mataczynski’s road to million-dollar earnings has been impressive, ‘Taazy’ does not intend to rest on his laurels. He is already planning his next fights and emphasises that he owes his success to hard work.

There’s nothing to complain about, I got seven hundred plus another fight for Josef and another fight for Kasjo, so the million is almost there. Now there’s another fight,” the streamer concluded optimistically.

Will ‘Taazy’ maintain his position and show that success in freak-fights is more than a one-off shot? Time will tell.
