Filip Chajzer recently opened a kebab place in Warsaw – Kreuzberg Kebap. During the Opole Book Festival, where he was promoting his autobiography `Unambiguously Positive’, he was asked by a Radio Opole reporter about his new business. The presenter said that his premises are the “kingdom of kebabs”.Byhis own admission, he had always dreamed of running a kebab shop, and was inspired by the flavours he learned as a child when his father worked in West Berlin.

My big business dream was to own a McDonald’s franchise. I opened a Subway franchise. That business went bust because a kebab just opened up through the wall. I remembered that childhood dream, ended up working in television and opened a kebab. And in a while there will be other outlets, in Opole as well,” announced Chajzer

Książulo evaluates Kreuzberg Kebap

The kebab stall decided to visit the popular youtuber Książulo. In his review, he drew attention to the unevenness of the portions, too little meat in the kebab and the thickness of the lavash. Książulo’s opinion of Kreuzberg Kebap did not sit well with Chajzer. The presenter did not remain indebted, sharply criticising the yotuber:

I saw it, it’s as d**y as the author of this review himself.

Książul’sreaction was quick and equally sharp:

For me it’s an embarrassment, by the way, most of the comments under the publications of this ‘interview’ perfectly show how stupid this move was.”

He also added that kebab owners should treat customers equally, regardless of their social media status.

Shortly after the incident, Filip Chajzer published an apology on social media.

In a manly, brief and concrete manner. My words were… “out of my ass”. My business was born out of a dream and I do indeed have an emotional attachment to it, which in the case of my statement to the radio took precedence over class, culture and elegance. Just because I’m not a fan of the review of my kebabs doesn’t mean that Mr. Książulo isn’t doing a great job helping the family business. We, of course, have nailed the standardisation of the product. We’re introducing an extra Książulo portion of meat if someone couldn’t get enough,” wrote Chajzer.

The conflict between Chajzer and Książulo has attracted the attention of the freakfight federation, which has offered Książulo a fight. Will the youtuber accept the challenge and face Chajzer in the ring? This remains an open question, but a potential fight could attract huge media and fan interest from both sides.
