Robert Pasut’s broadcast appeared on the Kick platform and began circulating online in no time. In the footage, the streamer can be seen approaching a sleeping woman, uncovering the duvet and touching her body. The whole thing takes place to the accompaniment of vulgar comments about a “Thai faggot”. After a while, Pasut leaves the room, taking her phone. In a comment in the chat room she admits:

I lay down and changed my orientation to horizontal. It has started.

The reaction did not have to wait long. Lawyer Dagmara Adamiak, president of the Equal Foundation, and activist Aleksandra Jasianek did not remain indifferent and officially filed a notification with the public prosecutor’s office. In their view, the list of potential crimes is extensive – from abusing a person without consent, to insult, to presenting pornographic content that may have been accessible to minors.

Violence against women is not a means of outreach. It is a crime – stresses Adamiak in an interview with Pudelk.

The activists put it bluntly:

We’re not even 30 years old, and we know we’ve had enough. We have the tools, we have the power and we will not be silent.

Their action is not only meant to be an attempt to hold Pasut accountable, but also an impetus for change and an encouragement to other women not to be afraid to react.

As Wyborcza.co.uk has established, Robert Pasut is currently in the Philippines, where he continues to live stream and publish content for his community – largely made up of teenagers. In one message, he was said to have admitted that he had “made a mistake” and expressed fears about returning to Poland.

Although it is not yet known whether the case will end in formal charges, one thing is certain – the scandal surrounding Robert Pasut may become an important point in the fight against sexual violence on the internet. Internet users do not hide their outrage, and the voices calling for the streamer to be held accountable for his actions are not silent.
