How much was collected during the 34th Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity?

During the 34th Grand Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, more than PLN 183 million was collected in the declared amount – a result which may grow even more after counting all contributions, auctions and e-wallets. Although it is slightly less than last year’s record-breaking PLN 289 million, this year’s result still evokes admiration and emotion. Foundation President Jerzy Owsiak stressed that “the most important thing is what this money will be used for – that is, to help the youngest patients.

WOŚP 2026 goal: fight against digestive diseases in children

This year’s WOŚP 2026 goal is to diagnose, treat and equip paediatric gastroenterology wards. This is the first time the Foundation has ever focused on this area of medicine. The need for modern endoscopes, ultrasound scanners or equipment for laboratory tests was enormous – now, thanks to the collection, they will go to dozens of institutions throughout Poland.

The most expensive auctions of WOŚP 2026 – who attracted the largest sums?

Great attention at the 34th WOŚP 2026 Finale was attracted by charity auctions, in which famous people put up unusual items and encounters. Among the highest bidders were:

• Omenaa Mensah, whose bidding has already reached the dizzying sum of PLN 201,250,

• Donald Tusk, who offered a joint meeting in the Clock Room of the Prime Minister’s Office, and golden football jams – the auction currently stands at PLN 115,250.

“Lights to Heaven” and the magical atmosphere of the 34th WOSP Finale

Traditionally, there was no shortage of thrilling endings to the finale, i.e. “Lights to Heaven”. The events accompanying the finale took place in more than 1,600 centres – from large metropolises to small towns and villages. Joint runs, auctions, family festivals and concerts attracted crowds.

E-boxes, cans and a record-breaking collection rate

The 34th WOŚP Finale 2026 also showed the modern face of helping. More and more funds are coming in through e-purse boxes, mobile applications or crowdfunding platforms. Despite the frosty weather, the pace of the fundraising was impressive – the counter of the collected funds was beating successive records long before the end of the final day.

When will we know the final result of WOŚP?

The full, official amount of the 34th WOŚP Grand Finale will be announced in March 2026 – after all accounts have been finalised and proceeds from auctions and e-donations have been counted.
