Beer is also alcohol. Olga Legosz’s campaign

In an earlier post, Olga Legosz drew attention to the problem of beer being treated as a ‘harmless drink’. The influencer was straightforward about the fact that in our culture this type of alcohol has acquired an almost friendly image, which can be very harmful. Beer advertising revenue funding underage athletes?

One of the most controversial topics raised by Olga Legosz was the link between beer advertising and the funding of sports activities for children. The influencer expressed her outrage, pointing out the moral incompatibility of this practice. She pointed out that while beer advertising may be legal, its impact on society, especially on younger generations, is worrying. In her opinion, the fact that funds from alcohol advertising campaigns go to programmes that are supposed to support children’s health is something that raises serious questions.

Olga wonders whether the topic of healthy living and sport should be combined with beer advertising. This type of situation, in her opinion, leads to a dangerous blurring of the line between health education and the promotion of substances that can cause problems with addiction or other social consequences in the future.
