Who was Eric Dane?

Eric Dane was born in San Francisco, California, in 1972. His character, Dr Mark Sloan, became hugely popular and the actor himself became one of the most in-demand in Hollywood.

The actor struggled with health problems for a long time. For many years, he struggled with the severe disease amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). This is a neurodegenerative disease that gradually paralyses muscles, leading to their complete atrophy and loss of mobility.
