Agnieszka Kaczorowska and Maciej Pela got married in 2018. They have two daughters together – which further complicated the formal separation issues. For years, they presented themselves in the media as a compatible and supportive couple. However, according to Pela’s statement – not everything was as perfect as it seemed.

Main reasons for the break-up

Agnieszka Kaczorowska admitted in an interview that the decision to split was dictated by the fact that “things were not working the way they were supposed to” and that she wanted to grow and the relationship did not give her a sense of partnership on an equal footing. Maciej Pela indicated that he felt excluded from his role as husband and partner, that he sacrificed his own passions for family life and that he did not get the support he expected. There were also allegations of infidelity online – Pela mentioned that Kaczorowska was supposed to get on a plane and fly to Belgium on their wedding anniversary.

Formally, the divorce has not yet been pronounced – even though the separation took place some time ago. The parties have not yet agreed on the terms of the settlement. The couple have a joint business (‘Pelaki’ – online dance courses) and issues relating to shares and competitive activities, have been cited as reasons for delays. In addition, Maciej Pela has revealed that their house is likely to be sold, but the road to this could be very long.

The changes in family life, Kaczorowska’s career development and the new house all affect the children, as the celebrities themselves emphasise. Maciej Pela claims that their daughters “can’t understand it” – their parents’ separation is a big change for them.
