Kabaret Ani Mru Mru has unexpectedly announced the cancellation of all performances and the suspension of its tour. The reason for this decision are serious health problems of Michał Wójcik - one of the group's most recognisable members.

Why is the Ani Mru Mru cabaret suspending performances?

The Ani Mru Mru cabaret, known for shows such as ‘Tofik’, ‘Chinese Restaurant’ and ‘Judge Anna Maria Wesołowska’, has officially announced the temporary suspension of all scheduled performances.

A message published on social media shows that:

  • ‘the reason for the decision is Michal Wojcik’s health problems,

  • the break will last until at least the end of February 2026,

  • all tickets will be refunded or rescheduled – if the cabaret resumes this year.

Michal Wojcik – what’s going on with the popular artist?

Although the team has not given details, it is known that there are serious health issues which require time for treatment and recovery. Michał Wójcik has been at the heart of Ani Mru Mru’s stage performances for years and his absence means that the whole activity has to stop.

The cabaret’s planned ‘Less More’ tour was to include dozens of cities across Poland. Unfortunately, all performances have been cancelled. The organisers assure that:

  • details will soon appear on the ticket distributors’ websites.

Kabaret Ani Mru Mru – short history

The Ani Mru Mru cabaret was established in 1999 in Lublin. It is made up of:

  • Marcin Wójcik,

  • Michał Wójcik,

  • Waldemar Wilkołek.

The group has gained enormous popularity and numerous awards over the years, performing both on television and on the largest cabaret stages in Poland. Their characteristic sense of humour and charisma attracted crowds.

What next for the cabaret’s activities?

It is unknown at this point whether the cabaret will return to the stage in 2026. It all depends on the state of Michał Wojcik’s health. The group stresses that the most important thing right now is the health and well-being of the band member, and any decisions regarding the future will be made in due course.
