Great sporting achievements of Anita Włodarczyk

During the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Paris, Anita Włodarczyk had the honour of acting as the ensign of the Polish national team. The sportswoman, who won gold medals at the London (2012), Rio de Janeiro (2016) and Tokyo (2021) Games, is one of the most successful Polish athletes. Wlodarczyk comes from a sporty family – her mum was a basketball player and her dad played football.

The champion’s private life

In an interview for the programme “Taka jak ty ty”, Anita Włodarczyk touched on her private life. When asked about her lack of a husband, she admitted that she hasn’t met the right person yet and doesn’t intend to look for love by force.

I’m not looking for love, it will come by itself one day. Nothing by force. But I haven’t experienced true love yet, but this is probably also due to the fact that I am at training camps all the time,’ said Włodarczyk.

Anita Włodarczyk: The challenges of solitude

Anita Włodarczyk noted that the constant travelling connected with her sporting career makes it difficult to establish lasting relationships.

It is not easy, because I spend most of my time away from home. On the other hand, I have a lot of great friends, also men, but I have never fallen in love yet,’ she added.

Włodarczyk also commented on having children. Although she loves children, she thinks that because of her busy lifestyle, having a big family might not be achievable for her.

A house full of children… maybe not. Although I love children, but I think it is unlikely to be possible,” concluded Anita Włodarczyk
