After months of anticipation, 'Dancing with the Stars. Dancing with the Stars" returned on Polsat. The first episode of the 18th edition featured as many as twelve couples on the dance floor, and the judges spared no praise or harsh remarks. High scores were given, the first surprises appeared, and the hosts gave the viewers an important message at the end of the evening. Excitement? Guaranteed.

The eagerly awaited start of the 18th edition of “Dancing with the Stars”

Fans of the show have been waiting for this moment since the finale of the previous season, which took place on 16 November 2025. Even then, it was announced that the new instalment of the show would appear in spring 2026. Over time, we learned more names of the stars and line-ups of couples who stood to fight for the Crystal Ball.

In the 18th edition of ‘Dancing with the Stars’, the contenders for victory include:

  • Paulina Galazka and Michal Bartkiewicz

  • Małgorzata Potocka and Mieszko Masłowski

  • Izabella Miko and Albert Kosiński

  • Emilia Komarnicka and Stefano Terrazzino

  • Magdalena Boczarska and Jacek Jeschke

At stake is PLN 200,000 for the star and PLN 100,000 for the dancer.

Jury and hosts – a proven line-up guarantees emotions

In the 18th edition of ‘Dancing with the Stars’, the participants are judged by a well-known and demanding jury:

  • Iwona Pavlović,

  • Ewa Kasprzyk,

  • Tomasz Wygoda,

  • Rafał Maserak.

The programme is traditionally hosted by Paulina Sykut-Jeżyna and Krzysztof Ibisz, who appeared in the premiere episode in stylings inspired by the theme of the new edition.

Top ratings for the first episode of “Dancing with the Stars 2026”

The first evening brought some spectacular performances. The most points – as many as 38 – were scored by Magdalena Boczarska and Jacek Jeschke for their elegant English waltz. Just behind them ranked:

  • Izabella Miko and Albert Kosinski – 37 points for their expressive paso doble,

  • Sebastian Fabijański and Julia Suryś – 36 points for their energetic cha-cha,

  • Gamou Fall and Hanna Żudziewicz – 35 points for a dynamic quickstep.

The judges appreciated both the technique and the stage emotion. There were even the first suggestions that the level of the 18th edition might be exceptionally high.

Who needs to work? Lower scores and first jury comments

Not everyone went equally well. 24 points were awarded to Małgorzata Potocka and Mieszko Masłowski and Piotr Kędzierski and Magdalena Tarnowska. In their case, the jury pointed out technical deficiencies, although they emphasised charisma and potential.

25 points were scored by Natalia “Natsu” Karczmarczyk and Wojciech Kucina and Kacper “Jasper” Porębski and Daria Syta. Their scores often included comments on their silhouette, footwork and greater confidence.

One thing is certain – the first episode showed that the competition in ‘Dancing with the Stars’ will be fierce and the point differences will be small.

At the end of the evening, the hosts delivered an important message regarding the running of the 18th edition. The production announced that the coming weeks will bring not only more eliminations, but also themed episodes and additional challenges for the contestants. New episodes of ‘Dancing with the Stars. Dancing with the Stars’ are broadcast every Sunday at 19:55 on Polsat.
