The fourth series of “Our People in Uniform” is set to test the participants not only on their physical fitness, but also on their character, resilience under pressure and ability to work as a team. Among the ten recruits is Daniel Martyniuk, whose participation is already causing quite a stir even before the programme’s premiere. Viewers have become accustomed to seeing Daniel Martyniuk’s name appear regularly in the media. This time, however, the reason is quite different. The son of the ‘King of Disco Polo’ has decided to take part in a TTV reality show in which celebrities are stripped of their everyday comforts and placed under the guidance of experienced instructors with links to the special forces.

“Our Men in Uniform” is a programme inspired by military training. Participants must adhere to discipline, follow orders, work as a team and cope with fatigue and stress. In previous series, they have faced challenges including marches, orienteering, evacuating casualties and tasks requiring teamwork. For Daniel Martyniuk, this could be an opportunity to show viewers a side of himself they haven’t seen before.

Does Daniel Martyniuk want to change his image?

In the promotional material for his participation in the programme, Martyniuk himself referred to how he has been perceived in the media so far. He admitted that he is the son of Zenon Martyniuk and that he has also become famous for “a few strange situations”. He also added: “I’m quite controversial,” whilst noting that he hopes to change that image.

It is precisely the military format that may prove to be a particular test for him. In the barracks, one’s surname, popularity and media recognition take a back seat. What counts is adherence to the rules, cooperation and how one responds to pressure.

The news of Daniel Martyniuk’s participation in *Nasi w mundurach* did not escape Kuba Wojewódzki’s attention. The journalist referred to Zenek Martyniuk’s son’s new role in his column, and did so in his characteristic style.

“Since the Battle of Cecora, the Polish army has not suffered a greater humiliation,” wrote Wojewódzki, commenting on Martyniuk’s appearance on the military reality show.

The comment quickly became one of the most talked-about elements of the media discussion surrounding the new series of the programme. Wojewódzki referred to the Battle of Cecora in 1620, which ended in defeat for the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth’s forces.

TTV has now revealed the full line-up for the fourth series. Daniel Martyniuk will be competing and collaborating with contestants known from the worlds of sport, the internet and television.

The programme will also feature Jakub Rzeźniczak, Maciej Pela, Robert Karaś, Arek Janiak, Henryk Alczyński, Wojciech Gola, Paweł Sobierajski, Dominik Abus and Krzysztof Chojecki, known to internet users as Pan Pistacja. In total, the new series will feature ten contestants.

Particular attention is drawn to the pairing of Martyniuk with individuals who have extensive sporting experience. Jakub Rzeźniczak was a professional footballer for many years, whilst Robert Karaś is famous for his extreme endurance challenges. However, “Our Men in Uniform” is not intended to be merely a test of strength and fitness.

What can Daniel Martyniuk expect from the programme?

Colonel Krzysztof Przepiórka, a former Special Forces soldier and former commander of a combat unit within the GROM Military Unit, will be responsible for training the participants. The team will also include Tomasz Krajewski, Radosław “Otwór” Otworowski and Adam Rycman.

TTV has announced that the themes of the new series will include, amongst others, modern masculinity, responsibility, composure, discipline and the ability to perform under pressure. Contestants are to be assessed not only on their physical fitness, but also on how they function within a group and react in difficult situations.

This may be particularly interesting in the case of Daniel Martyniuk, who, even during the programme’s promotional phase, spoke about his understanding of masculinity, highlighting, amongst other things, family, caring, honour and bravery.

When is the premiere of ‘Our Men in Uniform’?

Viewers will have to wait until autumn for the new episodes. The premiere of the fourth series of “Our Men in Uniform” is scheduled for 3 October 2026. The programme will be broadcast on TTV on Saturdays at 10.00 pm.
