Doda and Dariusz Pachut had been in a seemingly perfect relationship for over two years. Unfortunately, their relationship came to an end, and the emotions surrounding the break-up are still echoing in the media. A close friend of the singer, Mariusz "Dżaga" Ząbkowski, spoke out on the matter, expressing his opinion on the whole situation in an interview with the media, not sparing any biting remarks towards the artist's former partner.

Dariusz Pachut on the end of his relationship

Dariusz Pachut, Doda’s former partner, published a statement in which he suggested that the break-up happened because of their differences. On the TVN programme ‘I’m telling you’, he stated:

The approach to healthy living is very different from mine and Dorota’s angle. There was a little incongruity here, that’s what happened.

However, his words did not reveal many details, leaving room for conjecture.

Doda doesn’t dwell on the past

Although Doda regularly appears at media events, she avoids dwelling on her ended relationship. During the finale of “Dancing with the Stars”, she was accompanied by her close friend Mariusz “Dżaga” Ząbkowski, who, in an interview with Shownews.pl, revealed that the artist does not let the past define her:

I have noticed an incredible maturity in Doda, which I like a lot. […] I see that she’s not living it at all now. She is one step ahead and living her life. It happened three months ago and we don’t talk about it at all.

“Let her take care of herself”.

Mariusz Ząbkowski made his opinion clear on Pachut’s continued behaviour, calling for Doda’s space to be respected. In strong words, he added: “I would also like him to give her peace in such a public and private space and let her take care of herself. Maybe let some celebrity take him in, take him on holiday, he’ll have a nice time.”

A firm statement of support

Ząbkowski stressed that he does not intend to contribute to the further promotion of Doda’s former partner. He expressed the hope that Pachut would focus on pursuing his own goals instead of dwelling on the ended relationship:

We definitely said goodbye to Darek, and that’s why I would like him to live his life. I […] I don’t want to be another brick to build this person’s fame, because I’m standing firmly behind Doda.

A new phase in Doda’s life

Although the split with Dariusz Pachut was a difficult moment for Doda, the singer is not looking back. As her friend pointed out, the artist is focusing on herself and new challenges, and treats the past as a closed chapter.
