New version of ‘Azizam’ now available!

Ed Sheeran, one of the most popular artists in the world, has surprised his fans in Poland by releasing a Polish-language version of the song ‘Azizam’. The project was created in collaboration with an influencer known as Łatwogang. The whole action originated during the musician’s summer visit to Wrocław, where – as part of a spontaneous bet – he promised that if their joint video on a bicycle reached one million likes, he would sing in Polish. And that is exactly what happened.

What does Ed Sheeran sound like in Polish?

In the Polish version of the hit song ‘Azizam’, we can hear Ed Sheeran singing:

Let’s meet for a dance today. Show me how to flow like water. The lights are dancing all around us. Be my, my, Azizam.

This excerpt, sung with flair and accent, made many listeners blush. Interestingly, the chorus has been fully translated into Polish, which is rare for foreign stars. Latwogang, who also featured in the recording, is responsible for adapting the lyrics.

Ed Sheeran and Łatwogang – how did the collaboration come about?

During a meeting in Wrocław, Ed and Łatwogang recorded a tandem ride together. During this conversation, a proposal was made: if the video gets a million likes, Sheeran will sing in Polish. The video achieved the result much faster than anyone expected. Ed kept his promise – not only did he sing, but he did it with great commitment.
