Paulina Porzucek, known for her participation in freak fights and media mishaps, decided to get involved with the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity. The influencer put up for auction a lunch with herself as part of WOŚP 2026. It sounds noble, but one detail strongly annoyed Internet users - the winner of the auction has to pay for the meal out of his own pocket.

Paulina Porzucek supports WOŚP. Internet users divided after auction announcement

Well-known Internet influencer Paulina Porzucek has once again become the heroine of online discussions. This time due to her activity during the 32nd Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity. One of the GOCC auctions featured an offer to have lunch with Porzucek.

Although the aim is noble – the proceeds from the auction will go to Jurek Owsiak’s foundation – internet users were quick to point out a controversial detail. The description stated that the participant would cover the cost of the meal himself, which triggered a wave of comments, some of which were highly critical.

Lunch with an influencer – gesture of kindness or self-promotion?

The auction description reads that lunch with Paulina Porzucek is “a chance for a unique conversation about passions, social media and life”. The meeting is to take place in Warsaw on a date individually agreed with the person who wins the auction.

Although similar meetings with celebrities often appear among GOCC auctions, rarely do the organisers emphasise that the cost of the lunch itself is covered by the winner. It is this ‘catch’ that has divided Internet users – some of them believe that since it is a charity event, the whole thing should be a goodwill gesture on the part of the influencer.

Who is Paulina Porzucek and why is there such a buzz about her?

Paulina Porzucek has gained recognition through her participation in freak fights and her activity on TikTok. Recently, she was in the limelight because of a recording of a knowledge test in which she could not answer the question who is the Prime Minister of Poland. In the same material, she stated that PKP is “Polish Train Communication” and that she had never heard the abbreviation ABW.

The video instantly went viral online, finding its way into lists of the most embarrassing influencer responses. Despite this, Porzucek is active on social media, and the GOCC auction is proof that he wants to use his popularity for a good cause as well.

I can’t believe Paulina Porzucek expects someone to pay for lunch at a charity auction! Isn’t the point to raise money for a good cause, not make people spend more money?

I think it’s great that Paulina Porzucek is using her influence to support charity, but maybe she could cover the cost of the lunch herself to make it more meaningful.

I admire Paulina Porzucek for participating in charity events, but I agree that asking the auction winner to pay for lunch seems a bit off. Shouldn’t it be a gift from the influencer?

Paulina Porzucek’s actions show that even influencers can make a positive impact on society. Let’s focus on the good cause rather than the details of the auction.

I think the focus should be on the fact that money is being raised for a good cause, not on who covers the cost of lunch. Let’s support the charity auction and the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity.
