Kinga Duda said ‘I do’ in a private ceremony held at the Presidential Palace. Although the event was not publicised beforehand, its confirmation came the very next day.

Yesterday, Mrs Kinga’s wedding ceremony took place at the Palace,” Małgorzata Paprocka, head of the President’s Chancellery, told Fakt.

Paprocka noted that the choice of venue should not be a source of controversy.

The palace is not only a representative place, but also the home of the president and his family, so such a ceremony should not come as a surprise, she stressed.

Firm response to media speculation

Online and in the media, there were suggestions that Kinga Duda’s wedding was financed from public funds. The Chancellery unequivocally responded to these reports.

All costs were covered by the president from private funds. Suggestions to the contrary are a lie,’ Paprocka said.

Subtle elegance – the stylings of the presidential ladies

The wedding was also an opportunity for the women of the presidential family to show off their elegant outfits. Agata Kornhauser-Duda chose a light blue dress with a deep neckline and long sleeves. The styling was complemented by a delicate necklace. According to stylist Ewa Rubasińska-Ianiro, this was an example of ‘high etiquette dressing’, a style that emphasises class and subtlety. Kinga Duda, on the other hand, opted for a minimalist dress – white, strapless, with an open back. The whole look was complemented by classic jewellery: a pearl necklace and matching earrings.

An intimate celebration with loved ones

The ceremony was private, with around 50 guests present. Among them were not only the bride’s parents, but also her grandparents Jan and Janina Duda. The grandmother chose a navy blue outfit and classic black shoes, while the grandfather opted for a dark blue suit and blue tie.

Who is Kinga Duda’s husband?

The president’s daughter’s choice is Matthew – a 34-year-old doctor of law and Cambridge University graduate. He specialises in the law of new technology, automation and software. He has experience of working as an advisor to the CEO of the Stock Exchange, and currently lectures at the university and is active in the legal world. Privately, he is known for his elegance and attention to style. In the past, he played in the amateur Business League as a basketball player.

Kinga Duda – a professional beyond the limelight

Although, as the daughter of the president, Kinga Duda is in the public spotlight, she has successfully protected her privacy for years. She graduated in law from the Jagiellonian University and then obtained an LL.M. degree in the USA. She currently works as an attorney and senior associate at a renowned law firm in Warsaw, specialising in litigation and arbitration. Despite her high professional and family standing, she consistently avoids the media and does not speak in public. The wedding away from publicity was a continuation of this attitude.
