For years, the journalist and voice-over artist lent her voice primarily to nature programmes. She gained particular popularity through the programme “Animals of the World”, which has been broadcast since the mid-1980s. Her body of work has been recognised with awards including the Wiktor and Telekamera prizes, as well as the title of Master of the Polish Language.

Few people know that Czubówna is a lawyer by training. She entered the media industry whilst still a student, when she took part in a competition organised by radio and television. Her voice caught the attention of staff at Polish Radio, and it soon became clear that she wanted to build her future behind the microphone.

Being a mother was her priority, whilst her work remained her other great passion. There was simply not enough space or time for yet another demanding role.
