On Sunday evening, 11 May 2025, the final of the 16th edition of ‘Dancing with the Stars. Dancing with the Stars’. After weeks of dancing struggles, exciting performances and growing tension, the Crystal Ball was won by Maria Jeleniewska and Jacek Jeschke.

Three couples competed in the final: Maria Jeleniewska and Jacek Jeschke, Filip Gurłacz and Agnieszka Kaczorowska and Adrianna Borekand Albert Kosiński.

After three rounds of dancing, both the Jeleniewska-Jeschke and Gurłacz-Kaczorowska pairs scored 120 points each from the jury, while Borek and Kosinski scored 117 points. In the end, thanks to the viewers’ votes, the victory went to Maria and Jack.

Maria Jeleniewska – who is the winner of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ 2025?

Maria Jeleniewska is a 23-year-old influencer, best known for her activities on the platform TikTok, where she has gained huge popularity with her dance videos. Her participation in the programme was widely commented on, and her performances often moved both the jury and the audience. In an interview after the final, Maria shared her emotions:

I felt euphoria. Jacek grabbed me so quickly, I didn’t know where I was. I was so happy! I was afraid I was still going to cry, (…) I had tears that were gathering from happiness. Huge pride, happiness, euphoria, excitement, joy!

Jacek Jeschke – three-time “Dancing with the Stars” triumpher

Jacek Jeschke is an experienced dancer, for whom the victory with Maria Jeleniewska was already the third triumph in the programme’s history. He previously won the Crystal Ball in the 5th edition with Anna Karczmarczyk and in the 14th edition with Anita Sokołowska.

The winning couple received not only the prestigious Crystal Ball, but also cash prizes: PLN 100,000 for Maria Jeleniewska and PLN 50,000 for Jacek Jeschke.

Controversy surrounding the results of the final

Although many viewers congratulated the winners, there was also plenty of criticism. Some internet users felt that Maria Jeleniewska’s win was unfair, arguing that her popularity on social media outweighed her dancing skills.

Dancing with the Stars was won by someone who is not a star. Paranoia.
