Marta Nawrocka – the new First Lady of Poland

Marta Nawrocka, wife of Karol Nawrocki, became the First Lady of Poland after her husband won the presidential election. Until now she has remained out of the media’s reach, focused on her family and national service. Now she is becoming one of the most recognisable women in the country.

Marta Nawrocka: From ballerina to KAS officer

Marta Nawrocka was born in Gdansk in 1986. In her youth she dreamt of a ballet career and attended the renowned Janina Jarzynówna-Sobczak State Ballet School. Ultimately, however, she took a different path, graduating in law from the University of Gdansk.

Since 2007, she has worked in the Customs Service, and since 2017 in the structures of the National Fiscal Administration. As an officer, she specialised in combating illegal gambling and controlling the spirits and fuel industry. Her experience included operational and procedural activities, often with a high degree of risk.

Family life and values

Marta and Karol Nawrocki have been married for 15 years. Together they are raising three children: Antoni, Katarzyna and Daniel – Marta’s son from a previous relationship, who is also politically involved as a councillor of the Siedlce district in Gdańsk.

The new First Lady emphasises that family values are the foundation of her life. It is to her family and the upbringing of her children that she has devoted many years, balancing her professional duties with her private life.

Role of the First Lady 2025

During the presidential campaign, Marta Nawrocka actively supported her husband. In interviews she has announced that as First Lady she intends to become involved in helping families of children with disabilities and promoting patriotic attitudes among young people.
