The new beauty queen was Maja Todd - an exceptional candidate from Katowice, who impressed not only with her beauty, but also with her heart for community service. Who is the new Miss Polonia? Maja Todd becomes Miss Polonia 2025 – meet the new beauty queen

The grand final of Miss Polonia 2025 is behind us. The title of the most beautiful Polish woman went to Maja Todd, a representative of Katowice, who impressed the jury and the audience during the gala with her naturalness, modesty and social commitment. The 22-year-old Maja took the crown from last year’s winner, Maja Klajda, continuing a tradition that has continued uninterrupted since 1929.

Who is Maja Todd?

Although she was born and raised in the UK, she has lived in Katowice for years. She works as a lifeguard by day and in her spare time indulges in her passion – soul and R&B music. Maja is also involved in charity work, especially in helping people with intellectual disabilities.

Twenty-four finalists from all over Poland took part in the competition. The gala was hosted by the previous Miss Polonia, Ewa Jakubiec, and actor Błażej Stencel. Among the honoured were also:

1st Vice Miss Polonia 2025: Julia Łuczak
2nd Vice Miss: Justyna Roguska
The title ‘Miss Beauty with a Message’ and the audience award went to other exceptional candidates.

Controversy after the announcement of the results – Internet divided

Although the choice of Maja Todd won many supporters, there was also controversy. Social media posts were followed by comments from internet users who suggested that Julia Luczak was the public’s favourite. There were criticisms: ‘Where are your eyes?’, ‘It was a set-up’, ‘I can’t believe she won’, commented online users.

Miss Polonia – today it is more than just beauty

As the special guest of the gala, former Mister of Poland Rafał Maślak, pointed out, the Miss Polonia contest is today not only a beauty pageant, but also a platform to promote values – empathy, courage, social responsibility. This is exactly what Maja Todd is like – beautiful not only externally, but also internally. Maja will represent Poland at international beauty contests, promote charity activities and support social campaigns.
