Record trailer views – Marvel on top again

The premiere of the trailer for the film `Fantastic Four: First Steps’ took place during this year’s Super Bowl – an event that attracts millions of viewers every year. Of all the previews presented, it was the new version of ‘Fantastic Four’ that made the biggest impression. Within 24 hours, the trailer racked up an impressive 202 million views – the best result ever for a non sequel film. Only ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ and ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ had better achievements.

Fantastic Four: Retro style and new characters

Audiences were delighted not only with the cast, but also with the film’s aesthetic – inspired by futuristic visions of the 1960s. The role of the group’s leader, Reed Richards (Mr Fantastic), will be played by Pedro Pascal. Sue Storm, or the Invisible Woman, will be played by Vanessa Kirby. Johnny Storm, aka the Torch Man, will be portrayed by Joseph Quinn and Ben Grimm (The Thing) will be played by Ebon Moss-Bachrach.

A first in the MCU and a link to the upcoming `Avengers: Doomsday’.

Although “Fantastic Four” has already appeared on the big screen twice, the latest version will be the first to be officially introduced into Marvel’s cinematic universe. What’s more, the film is expected to tie directly into next year’s ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ spectacle, with Robert Downey Jr. returning as Victor von Doom – the main antagonist from the new universe.

Fantastic Four. Box office promises to be impressive

Industry experts predict that ‘Fantastic 4: First Steps’ could earn up to $250 million in its first weekend after release. Such a result will almost certainly guarantee it a place among the top grossing films of 2025.
