The actress also pointed out that despite his advanced age, the Pope had the energy of a young man and tackled difficult, often controversial topics.

Final farewell and preparations for the conclave

Pope Francis’ body will be displayed in St Peter’s Basilica, where the faithful will be able to pay their respects. In accordance with his will, he will be buried in the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore in Rome, in a simple tomb without decoration. A conclave will begin in the coming days, during which the cardinals will elect a new pope.
