Robert Lewandowski fulfils his dream of owning his own yacht

For years, Robert Lewandowski has been associated not only with great sporting successes, but also with a passion for comfortable travel and relaxing in luxurious surroundings. The footballer and his wife, Anna Lewandowska, have frequently been spotted on exclusive yachts whilst on holiday abroad.

Now it seems the couple will no longer need to rely on chartered vessels. The captain of the Polish national team has commissioned his own catamaran from the Sunreef Yachts shipyard in Gdańsk. The company specialises in the production of luxury vessels and has previously worked with well-known sportsmen such as Rafael Nadal and Fernando Alonso, amongst others.

The footballer has become a brand ambassador

The purchase of the yacht is not the only aspect of this collaboration. Lewandowski has also become an official ambassador for Sunreef Yachts. He has thus joined the ranks of international sports stars promoting the Gdańsk-based brand.

The footballer has chosen the 80 Sunreef Power NEXT model. The yacht is to be customised according to his individual specifications. The footballer himself emphasises that he has been following the brand for some time and considers it the best choice.

“Sunreef is the perfect choice for me. I’ve been following the brand for some time now and I believe it really stands out. It focuses on style and creativity, whilst also being dynamic and having incredible synergy with the world of sport.” One of my long-term plans is to spend more time on the water. I’ve done thorough research and I can say that I’ve found the perfect yacht to make this dream come true,” said Robert Lewandowski on the shipyard’s official website.

A floating apartment for Lewandowski

The catamaran commissioned by the footballer is set to be of impressive dimensions. The vessel will be nearly 24 metres long and approximately 12 metres wide. The owner will have around 366 square metres of usable space at his disposal.

The deck will feature numerous amenities typical of the most luxurious yachts. These will include, amongst other things, a garage for a jet ski, a hydraulic swimming platform and the Ocean Lounge – a private relaxation area situated right by the water. The catamaran will also offer spacious areas for relaxation, leisure zones and a flybridge, where owners can relax and enjoy meals al fresco.

How much might Robert Lewandowski’s yacht cost?

The official price of the vessel commissioned by the footballer has not been disclosed. Industry estimates suggest, however, that the cost of a fully customised catamaran of this type could exceed 8 million euros. This works out at around 33 million zlotys.

It is not known, however, whether Lewandowski will pay the full market price. Given that he has become a brand ambassador, it is possible that the terms of purchase were agreed on an individual basis. Neither the footballer nor the shipyard have yet disclosed any financial details of the transaction.
