Stuu ACQUIRED! He was detained in England!!!? Will he end up behind bars?

Recently, the notorious #PandoraGate internet scandal took a real turn. Stuu, one of the main perpetrators of the scandal, was unexpectedly `citizen arrested’ in the UK by fans of Sylwester Wardęga’s activities. However, the final reaction of the British authorities has caused controversy.

Stuart Burton’s detention in the UK

It came as a recent surprise when Sylwester Wardęga and Konopskyy announced the ´civil detention´ of popular youtuber Stuart Burton, also known as Stuu, in the city of Luton, England. Wardęga and Konopskyy shared the news on their Instagram accounts, showing pictures of Burton.

Watahans [i.e. fans of Wardęga’s actions – editor’s note] detained the suspect in a shop in Luton (I received the video). They handed him over to the English police. If the police in England have already received information from the Polish services, then he is probably detained. If the Polish services haven’t informed them yet (and it’s possible, because the police asked about Stuu in House X today) then they could have let him go. He was not beaten, but only detained and handed over to the services,” Wardęga wrote.

However, Konopskyy added that if the British services had not been informed of the situation by Poland, Stuu could have been released.

Burton’s attorney expressed concern that what is called a `civil detention’ may have been more aggressive. His information indicated that Stuu was allegedly physically assaulted and later taken to hospital. In a statement to the I.co.uk portal, the attorney stated:

The Pudelek portal obtained confirmation from Tytus Jablonski’s lawyer that Stuu was indeed taken to hospital after the incident. Material relating to the incident was said to have been secured by the British services, although, according to the lawyer, there is no official information that Stuart Burton has been detained by the British police.
