Victoria Swarovski has become one of the most talked about figures at this year's Eurovision. The Austrian presenter, model, singer and businesswoman will host the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna. Her name is no coincidence - the 32-year-old actually comes from the family behind the famous brand associated with crystals and luxury jewellery.

Victoria Swarovski the face of Eurovision 2026

Victoria Swarovski has been chosen to host this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, which will be held at the Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna. Austria is hosting the event following JJ’s victory in the previous edition of the contest.

Eurovision 2026 is already generating extremely high excitement. One of the main reasons is Israel’s participation, while Russia remains excluded from the competition. Political tensions surrounding the contest have led to Spain, Ireland, the Netherlands, Slovenia and Iceland dropping out. For its part, Nemo, the 2024 winner, sent its trophy back to the EBU headquarters in Geneva in protest.

Poland, despite objections from some activist and artistic circles, will take part in the competition. Our country’s representative will be Alicja Szemplińska. Polish accents will also include Karolina Pisarek, who has been invited to the event as an ambassador of the Israeli brand.

Victoria Swarovski and a famous name. This is no coincidence

Victoria Swarovski was born in Innsbruck, in the Austrian Tyrol. She has been in show business for years, but her family background has also attracted media attention. The celebrity is indeed part of a family linked to the Swarovski empire, a brand known worldwide for its distinctive crystals, jewellery and luxury accessories.

The family business has an impressive scale. According to the figures quoted, the company had revenues of around $2.26 billion last year and is valued at $4.8 billion.

Victoria Swarovski started with music

Swarovski started building her own career, independent of the family name, very early on. As early as 16, she signed a contract with Sony Music and began releasing her first singles.

Two years later, she moved to Los Angeles, where she developed her musical ambitions. There she worked, among others, with Diane Warren, a Grammy winner and one of the most respected songwriters in the music industry.

The breakthrough in her media career came in 2016, when she won the German version of ‘Dancing with the Stars’, or ‘Let’s Dance’. This success paved the way for her subsequent TV projects.

Presenter and juror

After winning ‘Let’s Dance’, Victoria Swarovski quickly began to receive further professional offers. Soon after, she became the youngest juror in the history of the programme “Das Supertalent”.

In 2018, she returned to ‘Let’s Dance’, but already in a completely different role – as a presenter. Since then, she has appeared regularly on major entertainment formats and prestigious events. She has hosted the ‘100 Years Disney Show’ and the Bambi Gala, among others.

The star develops her own brands and designs

Victoria Swarovski does not limit her activities to television alone. In 2020, she founded her own cosmetics brand ORIMEI. In parallel, she acts as a model and regularly appears in fashion and lifestyle media.

Her photos have found their way onto the covers of magazines in Austria and abroad, including “Glamour”, “ELLE”, “L’Officiel”, “Gala Style” and “Forbes”. Swarovski has also tried her hand as a designer. Drawing on her Tyrolean roots, she created collections of traditional dirndl costumes, as well as clothes and accessories.

Victoria Swarovski in private. Divorce and new relationship

Victoria Swarovski’s marriage to Werner Mürz, a property developer and investor, who is 16 years older than her, is behind her. The couple married in 2017, but the relationship ended in divorce.

The 32-year-old presenter is currently linked to Mark Mateschitz, son of the co-founder of the world’s largest energy drink manufacturer. The media points out that if the couple had decided to marry, the combination of their assets could have made them one of the world’s richest couples.
