Tomasz Karolak has recently stirred up controversy due to his fee for taking part in the new TV show `Time to show. Drag Me Out' on TVN. The programme, in which contestants dress up as drag queens and compete to create transformations and performances, will be hosted by Mery Spolsky, with a jury including Andrzej Seweryn, Anna Mucha and Michał Szpak.

Karolak on special terms?

According to the Shownews website, Karolak negotiated his fee in a way that was independent of the number of episodes, which astonished the other contestants. The actor was said to have negotiated a sum of PLN 150,000 for his participation in the programme, regardless of the number of episodes, meaning that even if he dropped out in the first episode, he would still receive this sum. On the other hand, other participants, such as Marcin Łopucki, were offered to settle for an episode, where the fee was much less – 15 thousand zlotys. Will the information about Karolak’s high fee affect the atmosphere among the other programme participants? This can only be speculated about, but there is no doubt that this matter raises a lot of emotions in the media and the community.

In addition to Tomasz Karolak, the programme `Time to show. Drag me out’ we will also see other well-known contestants, such as Michał Mikołajczak known from the TV series Na Wspólnej, bodybuilder Marcin Łopucki – husband of Katarzyna Skrzynecka, Tadeusz Mikołajczak, who was a contestant in the Top Model programme, Adam Zdrójkowski’s father, Dariusz Zdrójkowski, and influencer Kamil Szymczak.
