5 March was a day that Sofi will remember forever – not only because of the operation, but also the dramatic news that her partner had been detained by the CID. The young influencer published an emotional vlog in which she talked about those difficult moments. Although she was planning a breast augmentation surgery that day, she could not have foreseen that exactly then her beloved, Wojciech Gola, would be arrested in connection with an ongoing investigation into illegal lotteries.

Surgery and shocking news

Sofi revealed that until the very end she had no idea what was happening outside the operating theatre. She was under anaesthetic, tired and confused. It wasn’t until she woke up that she started receiving worrying signals – dozens of missed calls and messages.

When I finally managed to reach for my phone, I saw hundreds of notifications. I called Wojtek’s mum back, and then the people who were with him on the way to Szczecin. That’s when everything collapsed inside me – she confessed with difficulty.

Online criticism and an avalanche of misunderstandings

While Gola was in custody, a pre-planned publicity post appeared on Sofi’s profile. The publication was met with a wave of criticism, especially from Sylwester Wardęga. The influencer was quick to explain that the post appeared automatically, and that she herself was not even aware that something had been published.

I was absent all day. It was only in the evening that I looked on Instagram and saw what had happened. Of course, I immediately deleted the ads. I didn’t have a head for it. My pulse was going crazy all the time, I had 160, and every conversation ended in tears – Sofi recounted.

The next day, the influencer returned to Warsaw. Still weakened, with pent-up emotions, she waited for Wojtek with the hope that everything would somehow work out. Moments later, her beloved was next to her again.
