The young 15-year-old has a chance to develop artistically thanks to the support of her parents. She has been cast in the play “Metro”, where she stars alongside experienced actors. What is her mother’s opinion of Kalina’s performance?

We watched to what extent she took it seriously, and to what extent it was just “I’ll sing”, but she got very involved (…) Then there were castings (…) she appeared in this group of youngsters and slowly took her first steps. It’s not a leading role.

Urbańska also pointed out that her daughter must meet certain requirements if she wants to develop in the world of art now. She

can play in the show if she can cope with her studies. (…) We’ll try to make sure she doesn’t get too carried away with this world and understand that it’s hard work. (…) We are strict teachers too, it’s not as if she has some kind of concessionary tariff. On the contrary, I think she will have it harder than others.

Kalina is already planning her future path.

Urbańska told us which school her daughter has chosen: “

Kalina has chosen Mr Wajda’s film school and I think it is a good choice, because apart from her passions, she told me she could be a psychologist. For now, we are not pressuring her,” Urbanska confessed in a past conversation with Plejada. Kalina is active on stage, but she has her own philosophy on the matter. She continues to sing even though she decided a few years ago: I will not sing. This, too, is a process. She is now 14 years old. I joined Buffo when I was 17 and also had no idea what awaited me there. It all played out there, on the spot. I shaped my personality there. I let her go at her own pace. My husband and I are watching her and supporting her as much as we can.
