During the See Bloggers event in Lodz, Magda Gessler shared her controversial thoughts on `men choosing the male-male option'. In her latest post, she returned to her earlier words.

Magda Gessler enjoys both a large number of admirers and opponents. Some people may be annoyed by her self-confidence and tenacity, while others adore her precisely for this. Recently, as one of the celebrities, she took part in the three-day See Bloggers event in Lodz, during which she gave a bold interview.

During her interview with journalist Pomponik, Magda Gessler shared her thoughts on relationships, love and the phenomenon where men leave women in favour of younger partners. At one point, the culinary show star shared her bold opinion:

‘More and more men are choosing the male-male option because they are afraid of women, because women feel very lonely and they are surrounding men, and they absolutely cannot be feminine because they are already so impatient that they have forgotten the art of seduction, of sensuality.

User comments made it clear that the celebrity had lost touch with reality and her statement could be harmful. Bart Staszewski, LGBT+ activist and president of the Basta Foundation, is of a similar opinion, saying in an interview with Plejada:

Magda Gessler has burned a muffin and is promoting dangerous nonsense. I’m not afraid of women, I adore them and I’ve always known I was gay.

After the Lodz event, a new post appeared on Magda Gessler’s Instagram profile. Although she did not directly address her controversial statement, she emphasised how important tolerance is to her.

Tolerance is a word I would wallpaper my whole house with. It allows people to be reborn,’ the celebrity restaurateur wrote.
