Agata Buczkowska: `I finally feel freedom’. Here’s how the case with Michal Wisniewski ended

In 2020, Michal Wisniewski surprised fans with unexpected news. He announced that his third ex-wife, Anna Swiatczak, would be joining the Ich Troje line-up. This choice was not to the liking of the then singer, Agata Buczkowska, who expressed her emotions on her profile on Instagram. At the time, the star confessed that she was sent on a forced holiday and was kicked out of the band because she refused to sign a new contract. Wisniewski went live on Instagram and called Buczkowska unpredictable. The former singer then went on to speak about the contracts she signed with the band, which showed that she would have to pay up to a £500,000 fine for breaching any clause….

Agata Buczkowska scored a court victory over Michal Wisniewski

It turned out that the whole issue found its conclusion in court. Agata posted on Instagram screenshots of documents that show she has won a court victory over Michał Wisniewski and his agency Redadler. Buczkowska also shared a letter she received from her lawyer, Jan Maciejko.

I would like to kindly inform you that the verdict dismissing the claim of the company owned by Mr Michał Wisniewski has

become final.

In summary, the court found that your conduct was proper and that there were unlawful actions on the part of the plaintiff company. The court found that there were no grounds to impose contractual penalties against you, and the verbal reasoning shows that it was the other party that violated a number of regulations and norms. In view of the above, the case is over,” reads Buczkowska’s account.

The lawyer and at the same time partner of the former “Ich Troje” singer also advised her to file a lawsuit against Michał Wisniewski for “copyright infringement”.

In reference to our previous conversation, I suggest filing a lawsuit against Mr Wiśniewski for infringement of your copyright,” wrote Agata’s lawyer.

In an interview with the “Kozaczek” portal, Buczkowska commented on the whole situation: “

The only thing I can write about this case is that after 3 years since my contract with Redadler expired, I finally feel psychologically free and calm. I don’t want any public apology, I want to be able to realise myself and not to return to the past at any cost.

Michal Wisniewski, however, shies away from making any extensive statements on the subject. He only told the media:

As you can see, the lawsuit has been dismissed.
