I don’t accept how people are treated in this theatre, this is not my agreement, I don’t want to participate in this. Agnieszka Kaczorowska-Pela was recently a guest on the Żurnalista podcast. During the discussion, she raised the issue of her dismissal from the Here and Now Theatre.

A few months earlier, I had a deadline like everyone else. Two days before the weekend, with no reason given, I was informed that I would not be performing that weekend.

, I do not accept this kind of treatment, because I think this is not the way to do things, and many people will agree with me, well I have said that I will not be playing any more shows for this reason (…),” she said in an interview with The Journaller.

She stressed that fortunately she had several sources of income, which enabled her to make this decision:

‘Women have written to me (…) that it’s actually worth putting up these boundaries. You know, it’s so easy to say (…). I have had the comfort of having a number of sources of income and I say loudly that everyone should organise their lives in such a way as to have a number of these sources of income, to have security. If something bad happens to me somewhere and I don’t feel good about it, somewhere my values are bent, I can give it up,” she explained in the Żurnalista podcast.
