Agnieszka Woźniak Starak responds to the “Mam talent!” spot.

Agnieszka Woźniak-Starak, one of Poland’s most popular journalists, has been involved in animal advocacy for years. When she saw the latest promotional spot for the “Mam talent!” programme, featuring a man with a monkey drinking from a bottle, she could not remain indifferent.

I officially disassociate myself from such promotion of the “Mam talent!” programme – she wrote firmly on her profile on Instagram.

Audience reaction: “Massacre, how can this happen?”

The journalist’s post was met with an immediate response from internet users. Many of them expressed their support for the presenter and were appalled by the use of an animal in a promotional spot.Wozniak-Starak did not stop with the statement on Instastories.Additionally, she commented on the post on the official profile of “Got Talent!”, posting a brief but telling: “Really?”. Her reaction prompted many internet users to discuss the ethical treatment of animals in the media.

The presenter has been an active animal activist for years. She regularly supports charity campaigns, promotes the adoption of pets and opposes the use of animals in the entertainment industry.

Animals are not props. We shouldn’t be promoting their use on television, especially on a show with such a reach as “Got Talent!” – she stressed in an interview with a fan.

TVN responds to criticism

In the face of growing outrage from viewers, the TVN station has announced that it will look into the reports regarding the controversial footage. For now, no official statement has been issued on the matter.
