Andrzej Wrona, who regularly shares his daily life on Instagram with his wife Zofia Zborowska, has surprised fans with his sudden appearance. Every November, he chooses to shave his beard to support the Movember campaign. The campaign raises awareness of men’s health issues, particularly prostate and testicular cancer. Crow captioned the photo with the post: “Movember is back baby! Remember, it’s just a symbol. The most important thing is research. Gentlemen, go get yourselves all examined!”. He himself also stressed that, like every year, he will go for a preventive check-up.

Comments poured in under the beardless photo. For many fans, the Movember campaign is inevitably associated with Wrona. “Go, early detection of cancer saves lives. Better a husband at home than in the cemetery,” added Zofia Zborowska. There was also no shortage of voices saying that the beardless volleyball player is unrecognisable – “Oh siema. Where is Andrzej Wrona?” – wrote one fan with a wink.

Movember: Men’s Prevention Month

Movember is an international campaign whose main aim is to draw attention to men’s health and encourage preventive screenings. During November, in solidarity, men grow moustaches and spread awareness about prostate and testicular cancer. In the past, leading Polish sportsmen and women have taken part in the campaign, including Robert Lewandowski, Jan Bednarek and Wojciech Szczęsny, who have also promoted regular preventive examinations.
