Grabowski’s first wife was Anna Tomaszewska, with whom he has two daughters, Zuzanna and Katarzyna. As he admitted, their relationship fell apart because of his intensive work. ‘

Certainly my first marriage fell apart because of work,’ he confessed in an interview. ‘Anyone who has lived that many years has baggage. But if you asked me if I would like to have one, I would probably prefer not to have the baggage of two marriages, two divorces. I would rather have the baggage of a happy marriage, the same wife who has aged with me, loves me, I love her. But it did not work out for me.

Tomaszewska, in turn, recalled that the actor was visiting home less and less frequently, which in time led to the break-up of their marriage.

There came a time when our marriage began to fall apart. Andrzej practically stopped being at home. He was working in various places – a TV series here, a film there, numerous trips. At a certain point, I no longer really knew where he was or why – she said.

Second divorce cost him millions

After divorcing Tomaszewska, Grabowski got involved with Anita Kruszewska, who was 18 years younger. Their relationship did not stand the test of time either, and the separation proved exceptionally painful for the actor – not only emotionally, but also financially.In an interview with Żurnalista, he admitted that the division of property cost him a huge amount of money. In the end, I transferred one million 250 thousand zlotys to my ex-wife’s account as a division of property.

I didn’t have that amount in cash, I borrowed money and sold what I could – he revealed.

Despite the high price he had to pay, he felt relieved that the case was closed.

It was a relief. Relief that it would finally be over. And it did end. Those three years, which I was very tired of, because it was all the time getting slapped with some article, some slander, and suddenly I knew it was over. Yes, that’s the end. An expensive end – he added.

Kruszewska: “Divorce is a failure, but there was no other way out”.

The actor’s ex-wife, Anita Kruszewska, also addressed the end of their relationship. In an interview with Your Empire, she admitted that although the divorce was a difficult experience, it was the only possible solution.

I’m glad to put it behind me now. I wish Andrzej the best and that he is not left alone in his old age. And what about me? I will move on without dwelling on the past. Divorce is a failure, and no one is happy about failures. However, I have no doubt that in our case it was the only solution – she said.
