Anna Korcz went through difficult times. Her husband cheated on her for years

A career full of successes, a private life full of difficult experiences

Anna Korcz has been performing on the screen and on the theater stage for over 30 years. She gained the greatest popularity for her role as Iza in the series “Na Wspólnej”, and her strong character and self-confidence make her one of the most recognizable actresses in Poland. However, few people know that she struggled with a personal drama for years.

Korcz’s first husband, Robert, cheated on her for years. Although the actress fought for a long time to save her marriage, she was unable to do so. Their relationship ended in a painful divorce, which left a long-lasting mark on her life.

A painful separation after years of betrayal

Anna Korcz and her first husband met at university and quickly got married. In 1989, they said “yes” to each other and soon had two daughters. However, despite creating a family, their marriage was far from ideal.

Over time, it turned out that Robert Korcz had been leading a double life for years. As the actress recalled, everyone around her knew about his betrayals – except herself.

After ten years, I stopped being interested in my husband as a woman. He exchanged me for a younger one… I felt cheated, humiliated. In addition, it turned out that everyone knew about his affair at the time except me – she said in an interview with the weekly “Świat i Ludzie”.

Despite the pain and disappointment, Korcz tried to fight for the relationship. Ultimately, however, in 2003, they divorced, which was an extremely difficult experience for her.

The divorce certainly did not contribute positively to my inner peace. Just like other difficult experiences I had. (…) There is no home and family where it would be perfect, where everyone is healthy, rich and happy. There were tears, sleepless nights (…). But… I had to cope, because I wouldn’t be able to work, raise children, take care of grandchildren – she admitted in an interview with “Dobry Tygodnia”.

New love, new life

After years of difficult experiences, Anna Korcz found happiness with a new partner. After the divorce, she was alone for a long time, until fate finally put Paweł Pigoń on her path. The couple quickly became closer and got married. In 2010, their son was born, who became the actress’s greatest treasure.

Today, Korcz emphasizes that it was thanks to her new partner that she regained faith in love. They run a business together and enjoy every moment. There is no trace of the difficult past – now the actress focuses on her family and the happiness that she managed to find.
