Popek watched the new production with Nicole Kidman, but she did not like the film. In a video posted on Instagram, she outright admitted that the picture did not live up to her expectations.

The journalist, although she makes no secret of her affection for the Hollywood star, was unable to approve of the daring scenes in which Kidman appeared. In particular, she pointed out that the actress presented herself in very daring shots.

I looked at her with an expert female eye, an un-jealous eye, because I like her a lot. I think she must have exercised a lot, although she is so inherently very slim. She has slender muscles. But she was naked there. What a time. I don’t know, I certainly wouldn’t like that – Popek added.

‘Babygirl’ is an erotic thriller in which Nicole Kidman plays Roma, a mature successful woman who starts a relationship with a younger intern. The film explores the boundaries between desire and emotional release, focusing on power and sexuality. The production arouses extreme emotions and not all viewers liked it, as exemplified by Anna Popek. In Poland, ‘Babygirl’ has been quite popular, attracting over 200,000 viewers to cinemas so far.
