Krzysztof Rutkowski, the famous detective, together with his wife Maja Pilch, is preparing for another, even more grandiose wedding ceremony. The couple, who tied the knot as a couple in August 2019, have now decided to hold a church ceremony, promising an event full of pomp and elegance.

The history of their relationship was not without its difficulties and controversies, especially when rumours of Rutkowski’s affair with another woman surfaced. Despite this, Rutkowski and Pilch decided to overcome these obstacles by getting married civilly, and now they plan to take their vows to each other in front of the altar as well. On the occasion of their wedding anniversary, Rutkowski confessed on his Instagram:

The most beautiful years of my life, which made me realise, showed and taught me what true love is! No words will be able to convey to you what happiness and love my life has bestowed upon me in a wonderfully poetic, rose petal-strewn, fresh as a breeze love for my wife and my family.

The upcoming church wedding, which will be combined with the first communion of their son Christopher Junior, is set to be a special event. Maja Pilch revealed that the menu will be a traditional wedding, with additional attractions such as photo booths and live music. What’s more, Pilch announced that she will attend the ceremony in a white gown with a veil, decorated with crystals with their names on it.

I’ll have one more gown, not five like at our first wedding, because I don’t want to keep changing. I want to enjoy the guests, says Pilch.

Rutkowski and Pilch are sparing no expense in organising the event, planning to invite at least 150 guests. From the previous wedding, we remember that the costs could have reached up to a million zlotys – the question remains whether the couple will decide to break that record this time.
