The band Perfect, a legend of Polish rock, has announced its return to the stage with a new vocalist. Grzegorz Markowski will be replaced by Łukasz Drapała. The information was announced on 1 April 2025 in the programme "Pytanie na śniadanie", where the band members assured that it was not an April Fools' joke.

Łukasz Drapała, known from the programmes “The Voice of Poland” and “Mam Talent”, has become the new frontman of Perfect. The singer admitted that stepping into the shoes of Grzegorz Markowski is a big challenge, but he is ready to take it on. The band’s musicians stressed that the first rehearsals with Drapala went well.

Grzegorz Markowski, who left the band in 2019, remains in regular contact with his Perfect bandmates. Bassist Piotr Urbanek revealed that Markowski supports the band’s decision to return to the stage and is rooting for a new chapter in the group’s history.

Perfect’s concert plans for their 45th anniversary

To celebrate their 45th anniversary, the band Perfect is planning a series of anniversary concerts. The most important performance is planned for October at the Spodek in Katowice. The musicians also do not rule out recording new songs, which may bring freshness to their repertoire.
