Beata Kozidrak recently revisited the memory of an unfortunate drink-driving incident. The singer expressed her feelings about the harsh criticism she received at the time.

Beata Kozidrak, together with her band Bajm, has released a total of 10 albums, establishing herself as one of the most recognisable Polish singers. Many people could easily name at least one of her songs. Despite the passage of years, Kozidrak is still professionally active and regularly engages in social media. In a recent interview, she shared her experiences of encountering heckling.

Beata Kozidrak talks about the heckling that has affected her

Beata Kozidrak recently gave an extensive interview on the programme `Between the Words’ on Tok.fm. The singer talked about music, respect and love, and also referred to the events of September 2021. That was when she was stopped by the police while driving and a breathalyser test showed that she had as much as 2 per cent of alcohol in her breath.

This topic will always be in me and what I experienced is in me. And it taught me a lot,” said Beata Kozidrak.

The star stressed that the hard times did not break her, but on the contrary, they made her stronger. She also pointed out the negative comments that fell on her after that incident.

I felt that I was a person who had done so much that no one could break me. If someone wanted to, they failed. I came out of it all even stronger and I know what I want. But I don’t understand where such rudeness comes from, not only at my address,” the artist pointed out.

Beata Kozidrak avoids talking to haters

At the time, internet users had no mercy for Beata Kozidrak. The star experienced a wave of heckling and was even subjected to offensive remarks.

I encountered such terrible comments. They wrote: `You sh*t. What right does anyone have to call me that, does anyone know me? Does they know how much good I have done for other people? – confessed the singer.

Beata Kozidrak also suggested that people feel free to express heckling because they are anonymous and feel uninhibited. However, if they came face to face with her (or anyone else) on the street, they would most likely not dare to criticise so venomously.<div class=”group w-full text-gray-800 dark:text-gray-100 border-b border-black/10 dark:border-gray-900/50 bg-gray-50 dark:bg-[#444654]}”>.

The artist is aware of her value and is not going to give the haters the satisfaction of their actions. She won’t allow them her destruction, but she also doesn’t intend to debate with them so as not to fuel them for further attacks.

It […] pisses me off that someone can anonymously make life so difficult. But that’s how it works, then we comment that it’s not true and give further fuel. It’s pointless. I’m there to sing, to create. I don’t want to get into that at all. For me it’s a turd,” she assessed in conclusion.
