On 31 July, a unique ceremony took place on Czerwieński Boulevard – Bryan Adams joined the ranks of artists honoured in Krakow’s Avenue of the Stars. This prestigious place has been commemorating the greatest personalities in music and film, from both Poland and the world, since 2008.

The ceremony, which began at 1pm, was hosted by RMF FM journalist Mateusz Opyrchał. The event was attended by a large number of the artist’s fans, who had the opportunity to see their idol up close before the evening concert.

Sold-out concert at the Tauron Arena

After the unveiling of the star, Bryan Adams made his way to the Tauron Arena, where he played for a Polish audience that same evening. His performance in Krakow was part of a tour during which the musician presents his greatest hits and songs from his newer albums.

A distinction among music icons

Bryan Adams’ star was placed alongside such names as Celine Dion, Scorpions and Krzysztof Krawczyk. The organisers stressed that this was in recognition of the Canadian’s extraordinary career and his immense popularity in Poland, where tickets for his concerts disappear at an express pace.
