Daughter of the well-known writer Katarzyna Grochola, Dorota has inherited an artistic soul and a talent for creating beautiful interiors. Over the years, she has built her career by hosting the programme `Total Renovations by Szelągowska’, in which she transformed Poles’ flats.

Dorota Szelągowska has had several turbulent relationships. Her first marriage to actor Pawel Hartlieb ended in divorce, although the couple lived to see their son Antoni. She then hooked up with Adam Sztaba, the well-known conductor, with whom she lived for 13 years, two years of which as a married couple. After splitting with Sztaba, she married Michal Wawro in 2017, with whom she has a daughter Wanda. Unfortunately, this relationship too did not last. After her third divorce, Dorota publicly declared that she would never marry again. However, the heart is no servant, and a new love has unexpectedly appeared in her life.

The smiling couple poses on a beach in Spain, with Dorota cuddling up to her chosen one. Numerous comments appeared under the photo, and Maciej Dowbor jokingly asked: “I ask you who it is! Weren’t there any decent guys from Poland that you had to get yourself a Spaniard?”.
