Fighting for her daughter’s health

Ewa Błaszczyk and her husband Jacek Janczarski experienced a tragedy in 2000 when their elder daughter Aleksandra fell into a coma after an accident. Since then, the actress has become involved in advocacy for those in coma. Co-initiator of the ‘Budzik’ clinic, which specialises in neurorehabilitation, she has tried to help other parents in a similar situation.

Resting in Sicily

In search of a peaceful place to rest, Ewa Blaszczyk decided to buy a house in Sicily. For her, it is a kind of ‘vent’, a place where she can recharge her batteries and regenerate. The actress admits that she received an inheritance from her parents, which allowed her to fulfil her dream of a property by the warm sea. Blaszczyk explains that the choice of Sicily was quite spontaneous. She likes charming places with low houses and narrow streets, avoiding the crowds of tourists. For her, it is important that the place is associated with family and living together. She points out that it is a gift to her from her parents, and the cottage itself will always be linked to their memory.

A plan to transport her daughter

In the interview, she revealed that there is a thought of transporting her daughter Ola to Sicily. Despite her daughter’s difficult health situation, Blaszczyk does not lose hope and sees new treatment options that offer a chance to improve the condition of the sick.
