Ewelina Lisowska: Living on suitcases between two worlds

Since 2020, Ewelina Lisowska has been in a relationship with Andi Mancin, an Italian with a passion for rallying. For this reason, the singer often spends part of her time abroad, but Poland still dominates her daily life. As she herself admits, she does not intend to abandon her native country completely.

A pace of life that doesn’t harmonise with Italy’s style

Lisowska openly says that her energy and need to act “here and now” is at odds with the Italian way of life, where everything “goes slower”. In the interview she states:

I would say that in Italy everything happens in such slow motion, which I don’t like very much because I am an energetic person who has to do something here and now. There you have to wait for everything. I don’t like that. A siesta is definitely not my style. I don’t think I would have found myself like that in the long run in Italy.

It is this difference in the rhythm of life that she points to as the main barrier to a permanent move.

Love for Poland as the foundation of the decision

Although she is often abroad, Lisowska stresses that she remains deeply attached to Poland. In the broadcast, she points out:

I like Poland very much and I appreciate how life is here, what people are like here, that they are so hard-working, that there are really a lot of opportunities here. You don’t have that in Italy. Maybe we think that somewhere abroad is better, but I think Poland is really very good and I like living here.

It is a declaration that explains why the artist does not intend to give up her home country.

Ewelina Lisowska and lifestyle outside the capital city

Lisowska is reluctant to reveal details of her private life and very much values her space outside the limelight. In her words:

I’ve always been the kind of person who doesn’t necessarily share a lot of information about her life, so it suits me very well. I don’t live in Warsaw, I lead a fairly suburban lifestyle. It suits me very well and I’m happy to be somewhat anonymous.

This balance between living in the shadows and being active as an artist seems to be crucial for her.
