Iga Krefft, best known for her role as Ula Mostowiak in the popular Polish series M jak miłość, decided to share her difficult experiences working on set. Although the role brought her popularity and recognition, the actress does not have the best memories of this period. Professional stagnation became one of the reasons for her decision to leave.

Decision to leave series

Iga Krefft said goodbye to the role of Uli in 2022, when her character was sent to Australia. In an interview on the Studio 96.0 podcast, the actress revealed that although her character was not killed off, she does not intend to return to the series. “My character was sent to Australia. Although maybe some other actress has already come for the role…” – confessed Iga. She has found working on set for the past few years uninspiring and has even been frustrated by the lack of space for professional development.

Lack of opportunities for creative development

Although M for Love is one of the most popular series in Poland, Krefft speaks openly about the limitations that came with her role. The actress wanted to bring something new to the character of Ula, but faced barriers that effectively inhibited her creativity. ÒFor years I functioned in such a way that I kind of switched off as I worked on this series. (…) My attempts to do things differently always ended the same way,” she said. – added the actress.

Difficult atmosphere on set

Iga Krefft makes no secret of the fact that working on the set of the series also affected her mental health. Although the atmosphere was often tense, she decided to cut herself off from those memories and focus on other projects that brought her more professional satisfaction. The actress recalled that, despite the immense popularity of the series, the lack of space for development and strained relationships on set forced her to decide to leave.

A new phase in her career: success in music

After leaving M for Love. Iga Krefft focused on developing her musical career under the pseudonym Ofelia. The actress has fully dedicated herself to music, which has brought her a new wave of popularity and allowed her to realise herself artistically. “Now I’m in a place where I feel more authentic and creative,” she says. – she says of her new musical projects.

No return to the series

Although many fans are still hoping for the character of Ula Mostowiak to return to the series, Iga Krefft has ruled out this possibility. The actress has made it clear that she has closed that chapter of her life and sees no need to return to a role that limited her creative possibilities. Now fans can follow her career both in the world of music and in other projects that promise to further her development.
